My land line is down. As a result, my DSL connection is also down. It'll be a few days before the AT&T repairman can swing by and rectify the situation. The line went belly up yesterday, when I was trying (and failing) to access Blackboard. Now I'm behind in one my courses, and I'll have to turn in the first assignment late. I know there are tricks you can pull to remember people’s names. Unfortunately, I get lazy or distracted, and I wind up not using the mnemonic devices. Even better, I can actually forget the mnemonic device that I used, and then I’m back to square one ( Read more... )

So the other day, I finally got a haircut. My split ends have been banished, and I no longer look like an impromptu Medusa cosplayer. However, when I got home and blew it out, it became evident that my long layers were a little shorter and chunkier than I had anticipated. What I have right now is the Rachel.
