So it looks like I've managed to get myself out of an execution... or something. I'm not entirely sure what happened here. I didn't do anything myself really. Bright and Hauwsr did something and my sentence seems to be something of community service I guess? I'm back working for R&D full time, seeing as my Drifter Sentinel is out of commission

A word of advice is you never look a gift horse in the mouth.

And speaking of which, those kinds of blades really have some nice staying power. Plus a bit more kick than, say, the Vaisaga's usual physical blade.

I suppose, but I'm not sure it's such a gift really. I can't leave ID1 unless its an emergency and I have a personal guard now. More to protect everyone from me than for my own sake.

Actually, that might not be a bad tactics. Just appeal to Hauwsr that the GDF would be losing its best bartender and he might get you community service to...

I think we all already knew that. That said? I think the reason they kept me around is more practical than forgiving.

I still don't know how Anguis managed to get out of a personal guard though!
