Twenty First Drift
So it looks like I've managed to get myself out of an execution... or something. I'm not entirely sure what happened here. I didn't do anything myself really. Bright and Hauwsr did something and my sentence seems to be something of community service I guess? I'm back working for R&D full time, seeing as my Drifter Sentinel is out of commission for the moment.
I have the suspicion that the real reason why I am being kept around is that I have the most experience reverse engineering Silentium tech. I can say that I did succeed at more or less duplicating that beam saber and a number of them should be being delivered to the GDF shortly. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they just became standard issue, especially for psychics since they seem to resonate with psychic powers similarly to the psychoframe or Trans AM.
To be honest I'm not sure what to think about this. I mean... I guess I understand that we need people who have some understanding of Silentium technology... but... we have Anguis so... I guess I'm just bewildered.
