I think my first memory of you was your Nanda Pants icon! And your amazing fic, but lord knows which one, I sorta siddled into SG1 fandom and hey, here's the good stuff!

I love your infectious love for Boston and the old church you used to walk past. Also, I have the impression that you are constantly losing/finding your water shoes but have no idea if that is based in fact, a complete fabrication, or just something that happened once and stuck in my head.

Also: vegan brownies! Am I just making it all up now? IDK?

Hee. Jojo made me that icon. I do indeed frequently lose my water shoes. I have zero storage space, so my outdoor gear supposedly lives in a big bin in my bedroom, but in reality it migrates all over the house when I can't squeeze it into the bin. And I did post the vegan brownies recipe!

You know TALKING about fighting for your dreams is easy. You hunker down and do the incredibly difficult work of making those dreams happen. And you remind me that like any DIY project the results may not be what you planned but they're still beautiful because you made it happen. Whether it's patiently loving a dog that hadn't known kindness, or writing in a new genre, or keeping a trans-atlantic relationship intimate. My favorite thing about you is your emotional courage.

Oh, you! So much to choose from!

I first met you in James & Lisa's living room when Scott dragged me to the game and I was mortified when I realized that while he had cleared it with James, the rest of you didn't know there was a new face showing up and there was MUCH DEBATE over adding players and who got to invite folks and how everyone should get a vote and James was quietly pissed and Scott was loudly pissed and while I knew, intellectually, that it wasn't about ME it was still amazingly uncomfortable. You got up and went to the kitchen and offered me a coke or something and I was PROFOUNDLY grateful for the gesture!

The following week your character tried to kill mine, or something equally dreadful. And after I got over being pissed I loved you a lot for the normalcy of it all!

So that's it babe, kindness and death, and moving bodies at 4 am!

I realize that you probably didn't actually try to kill me, I think you were playing Kallista so it's more likely you robbed me and said something cutting but memory is weird.
