Ok. Wow. So just need to vent. It's been quite a summer and I'll be glad once school starts again just for the fact that Dri will get into her regular schedule again and I can then freak-out with a little more ease and not have to worry about her seeing mom just loose her shit. Don't get me wrong, SHE's been wonderful this summer considering

I just read this, sweetie, and wish I'd known before. Ohmigosh, Adderal was the worst thing that ever happened to Jared. I'm glad you caught up with it sooner than we did - Jid spent two years on the wrong meds, and is really only recovering fully now, two years after I refused to give him Adderal any longer (with DSS telling me I had to). If the reason for changing from ritalin to Adderal was to cut down on the number of times a day she needs to take meds, talk to her doctor about Concerta. And by all that's holy, get my number from Linda and call me if I can be an ear or anything.

Deb, it was the most frightning thing, oh god... before we started her on ritalin she'd come home from school in hysterics: "they all hate me, my teacher hates me, I don't want to goto school, I just want someone, anyone to love me."... that was in Kindergarden. Now, end of 4th grade, last week of school and she's a mess going in and coming home. 3 more days of school left and she comes home, a bizillion people around and massive amounts of chaos... she's crying and just out of control and god help me "I just want someon, anyone to love me." comes out of her mouth.

Nope. Immediately stopped the adderall.
