Writer's Block: Wild Rumpus

When I was younger I dreamed of finding an ancient, secret place, silent and forgotten and whispering with history. Digory Kirke in the Chronicles of Narnia not only has a rather intriguing-sounding attic, but is the first person from this world ever to set foot in the Wood Between the Worlds, or any of its pools. Imagine how many there could be,

although it is definitely a re-hash of Where The Wild Things Are, it's a clever and amusing one.

Where The Wild Things Are was written in 1963; The Chronicles of Narnia were written between 1949 and 1954. ;)
