Yet if that beginning exists to celebrate another life, does that life's end render it meaningless?

As long as it existed once, that life leaves an imprint in the fabric of time. And every thread of life has a meaning.

Yet threads can be cut, with so little impact~ As long as the fabric never tears, all is always well.

But a cut off thread, minimal as it may be, will be a mark on the fabric, nonetheless.

I think it's a wonderful way to celebrate. But it's not how it's usually done?

Different people have different meanings for Christmas, and different ways to celebrate it. There's not a single right way to do it, and no way is ever entirely wrong, either.

I didn't mean to say anyone's way is right or wrong--I just happen to like this one. But you're right. Holidays have different meanings for everyone. It can be a day for family, or simply a vacation.

Indeed. But you don't know the original meaning of Christmas, isn't that right?

I was wondering if you had any plans for New Years.

As a matter of fact, I do. I can always make time for Kantarou-san, though.

A shame, but if you do have the time I would still enjoy your presence. I was hoping to gather people together. After all, New Years should be spent with friends and family. It would be lonely if it were just I and those who live with me.

That would be a pleasure. And in exchange, I do expect Kantarou-san to join in on my own plans for New Years, as well.

Just a couple of musings, that's all they were. I do hope they reach out to the right people, though.

...that made. No sense to me.

You wanna explain what's the big deal about this Christmas thing yesterday? I got presents.

Different people see Christmas in different ways. For some of them, it's a day like any other, for others, it's a day to give presents to those they care about and be together with them. It was originally someone's birthday, though.

Why do so many people celebrate someone's birthday? In a bunch of different worlds, too.

It's a nice tradition, and a good excuse to spend time with their loved ones. You've witnessed it for yourself, haven't you?
