I think it's a wonderful way to celebrate. But it's not how it's usually done?

Different people have different meanings for Christmas, and different ways to celebrate it. There's not a single right way to do it, and no way is ever entirely wrong, either.

I didn't mean to say anyone's way is right or wrong--I just happen to like this one. But you're right. Holidays have different meanings for everyone. It can be a day for family, or simply a vacation.

Indeed. But you don't know the original meaning of Christmas, isn't that right?

No, not really.

Someone's birthday. Someone very important, to a group of people.

It would depend on your point of view. He was most commonly referred to as a messiah, though.

Who did he save?

Mankind. Not in their bodies, but in their soul.

Then can you teach me? How someone would need their soul saved? In my world everyone simply rejoins the Planet.

Rejoining the spirit of your planet, huh? I see.

At any rate, there are several ways in which a soul is believed to be saved. The most common view would be repenting for one's sins in the world of the living, before moving on to the next world; balancing out one's debts in life, you could say.
