Long, but nice, day

Just a quick update before I sack out--had a lovely time at Gulf Wars. Spent most of it at Scribe's Point, AKA, the Dungeon, where I did the calligraphy for two master scrolls, and painted a very lovely scroll for a Glean Abhann award--first time for me to paint a scroll for the new kingdom. It sounds like great fun to be a scribe! I would have wanted that if I lived back in the middle ages. I tried learning calligraphy once but I never got much practice at it. I do think I have a beginner's set somewhere though. :)

You should get your set out and play with it. Just have fun with it at first--letters are so much fun to play with--and calligraphy pens are perfect for copying out Elvish script in Tengwar.

I love letters--they are such a perfect invention! And you can make words with them too! LOL!

I have nothing but high praise for you people who practice the art of Caligraphy! I would like to give it a go except, well, I think the first prerequisite is to have legible cursive writing, lol. That list would not include me. :-P Glad you had fun!
