Deeeeeean. All sleepy and doped up and wanting a NAP. Poor dude, all wanting to soldier on and grieving for the loss of his bro from the family unit and sticking by his dad to take care of him. And like. Sneezy and possibly fainting, on top of it. I love his frustration with his cold and his stoicism in masking it as best he can. BUT THE HONEY NEEDS A NAP. AGHGHHH. And a childhood.

Glad you liked! Stanford era fics are a weakness of mine. Especially hurt/comfort ones. So I was happy that I finally had one to add to the pile.

What's funny is that I wrote this and then later read Hanson's Angel's fic "Celadon" on fanfiction.net and thought they were kind of similar. I suppose it makes sense, since I was kind of thinking of the same prompt as her as I was writing this. You should check out Hanson's Angel's fic if you haven't already.

I actually don't usually like fic with John in it! So it was kind of freaky that this one did it for me. Well done, madam, well done.

(Random-ish question: do you dislike John because he can be such a hardass, because the actor(s), or because...um, some other reason? Just curious.)

Heeee, about there needing to be a fic where Dean sneezes and hits his head.

I really liked this one.

Especially THIS: "Let's go, Dean," his dad says from the door where he's already got his boots on and car keys in hand.

("I'm going, Dean," his brother says from the door, shoes laced, and bag in hand.)

Haha, yes, yay for Dean sneezing and hitting his head. (I'm so mean to poor Dean; it's a wonder he lets me play with him.)

I'm glad you really liked this fic. I had quite of bit of fun writing the bit you quoted. It was one of those I'm writing this scene, and ooh, I see another!
