Is it just me or are some parents just spoiling their kids with a playroom filled with crisp, clean aesthetic child-friendly features merged into this wall system?

I want to be the child of the family that gets that for the playroom!

The children went back to school today.  I started another work week which will ultimately turn to hell.  The forecasters are predicting snow, again, on Thursday and Friday with temperatures hovering around 0°F Friday to Sunday.  Roads are a disastrous mix of slush, water, and ice which freeze the minute it hits 32°F.  Trash trucks decided against ( Read more... )

I was right, Casino Royale is an excellent movie.  The opening scene in Madagascar was unbelievable.  If you close your eyes or look away you’ll miss something.  Too many excellent scenes to describe, all I can say is it’s a definite must see.

A good friend and I are going to catch Casino Royale tonight.  I’ve been anxiously awaiting this movie as I’ve been a fan of James Bond since A View to a Kill with Roger Moore.  The movie looks terrific, you get to see the early days of Bond, and the action is heavy without the distraction of discussion.  Bond is all shoot first ask questions later ( Read more... )

Jessica and I are going out to dinner tonight without the children. Maybe, just maybe, it won’t be that crowded so we can enjoy a few minutes, maybe even hours, to ourselves. I can only hope. Movie, well, it may not happen, but it would be nice to see Transporter 2 but I’d settle for Flightplan which deals with airplanes. We’ll see.
