Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudocanon.
I am all over this like butter on delicious, delicious waffles. Because personal pseudocanon? Just about my favorite thing everAny fandom I'm familiar with, because the odds are good that if you ask me about a character I don't

-Quite probably gay. (This depends on the story, but gay/bi is the default, albeit one that doesn't come up often.)
-Very, very intelligent but not at all good in school, because he's bored and/or doesn't see the point. (I go to an alternative school that's about a third kids like that--they fail or come close to it if they're not kept interested/involved.) So he's got B's and C's with the occasional A and D, depending on how much he liked the teacher/class. It's not capability, it's interest and effort.
-His parents are divorced, and he lives with his dad out in the middle of nowhere. There are trees. (In one fic his mom also lives with him, but she has a very strained relationship with his father, may or may not be cheating on him, and works long hours and travels a lot, so she's very rarely at home.) As a consequence, he's often alone when he's at home.

So let's see!
-Remarkably insecure about interacting with other people, once he decides he likes them. That not happening often at all. Sideswipe is the exception.
-In at least one fic for the 2007 movie, he's kind of impressed by what he's heard about Bumblebee's fighting skills. And then kind of taken aback when he meets the mech and he's tiny and also kind of adorable and just not intimidating-looking.
-My generic G1 default (which does not hold true in Difficult Things, which is, true, my only published G1 fic so far) is that he kind of has this semi-friendship/understanding thing worked out with Bumblebee, something nobody else is aware of and they're both kind of weirded out by when they think about it ( ... )

-Gay. So, so, so gay. And so very, very repressed about it. We're talking closets inside of closets, seriously.
-And Daddy issues! His father's an extremely conservative Republican, from evangelical Christian stock even if he's not particularly active in the church anymore, and also abusive. He's not slapping anyone around--much--but his wife is a broken woman. Pretty much 100% responsible for Trent's gay issues.
-Gets good grades because he studies, all A's and B's. Not too bright, but he puts a lot of effort into his schoolwork.
-I don't think that last one should count, because that's been brought up in-fic at least once. So, he wants kids. He'll be good dad.
-...And he's only had sex once, which nobody knows. And it was kind of a disaster, for he-doesn't-like-girls reasons. He lies like crazy about this one.
-He has a golden retriever names Susan.

-So very, very visual. Side-effect of holographic imaging systems.
-He takes pictures when he's out on patrol/drives/whatever of all the plants and animals and geographic features and whatever else he sees, and then he organizes them into cross-referenced digital albums. XD He's kind of a dork, but I love him for it. And it's useful, sometimes! The scientists contact him for data, on occasion.
-Total introvert. Not that he doesn't like people, he just draws his energy from being alone. And, preferably, outside. He's friendly and he's got lots of friends, but he always finds some time to be off on his own.
Yeah, late, and kind of lame? I'm sorry. >.< I'm better at human characters, I always have tons of weird personal fanon for them...
And hey, ask about other characters, too! It's an interesting writing exercise for me, and I'm curious!

Okay, Movie!Ratchet! He is a character I have given lots of thought to, so this is easier, actually. :3
-Kind of in general uncomfortable with the psychological-support side of things, but pretty good at it and definitely used to it, because he does do it--it's necessary, in the war, and he's not exactly programmed for it, but it needs doing and he muddles alone. Actually, he's a lot better than he thinks, even if he is pretty non-standard in the way he goes about things ( ... )

And yes, absolutely, more than one!
Sideswipe!
-Adrenaline junkie, only without the adrenaline, because he lacks an adrenal gland. Obviously. Actually, he lacks hormones at all. Does it all for the thrill, which is sometimes good and usually bad.
-Definitely shows that he cares by being an outrageous asshole and bother. Furthermore, an "only I can call him that (or push him around like that, or etc.)"-type person. Often people are totally unaware that he likes them at all until something out-of-the-ordinary comes up.
-Hates Earth, but kind of loves wading in ponds. This is a secret. Sunstreaker is derisive, and unwilling to help wash algae off of his shins.
Bluestreak!
-Likes humans, or thinks he would if he really knew any well, but they make him nervous because they are far too breakable, and so he's never really gotten the chance to form any close ( ... )
