Ooo, a tricky one! It's interesting, I write Sunstreaker a lot, but I really don't have much in terms of headcanon for him...

So let's see!

-Remarkably insecure about interacting with other people, once he decides he likes them. That not happening often at all. Sideswipe is the exception.

-In at least one fic for the 2007 movie, he's kind of impressed by what he's heard about Bumblebee's fighting skills. And then kind of taken aback when he meets the mech and he's tiny and also kind of adorable and just not intimidating-looking.

-My generic G1 default (which does not hold true in Difficult Things, which is, true, my only published G1 fic so far) is that he kind of has this semi-friendship/understanding thing worked out with Bumblebee, something nobody else is aware of and they're both kind of weirded out by when they think about it.

-If he was a flower, he would be skunk cabbage, which is really, really pretty and also bright yellow and very--okay, in my head, skunk cabbage is independent and not friendly, and therefore a Sunstreaker-type plant. There are pictures here. This has nothing to do with smell--they really don't, unless you crush or break the leaves.

If he was an aquarium fish, he'd be a Lake Malawi Mbuna cichlid. They are (sometimes) yellow, and very aggressive/territorial. And fantastic parents, but that's neither here nor there.
