P.S. Apparently, Hoffenberg was actually serious about my joining choir second semester. I just got a nice, friendly, flattering email from him about it. (I know, I know, lure them in with flattery and kindness, right?) But still, it's impressive that he mentioned it the last week of classes first semester and was apparently serious enough

Join choir! I think it's fun- Rick is such an awesome guy. If you're used to orchestra rehearsals, it can't seem THAT intense. You might as well see how it is for a semester, while it's still early in your Williams career and you can try new things.

Well, I'm biased, BUT YOU SHOULD SING IN CHOIR!!! It's GREAT for your ear, your musicianship, and choir music is so fun!!!!

And as for scheduling, your schedule is no where near as crazy as mine (TRUST ME)...Spring semester is always insane, but if you stay on top of things, it's very rewarding. Good luck!
