I had an awesome time at Bicon 2010 this weekend!

Some highlights - in arbitrary order - include:

• So many wonderful people, from good friends to nodding acquaintances, from people very like me to people for whom bisexuality is the only commonality, from people I've known for since the eighties to people I met today.

Planning to head to Big Bi Fun Day in Leicester this afternoon, mob-handed. Weather seems set fair. See some of you there!

Alas, it looks very much like I - and **FIXME and **TODO - are not going to make it to Pride tomorrow. It was looking chancy but do-able, after a week of heat-induced poor sleep and coughs all round was beginning to get better. Well, that was a very good day out. We went down to Coram's Fields for the inaugural bi/alt parenting meeting. I'd never been inside before - the rule is that adults are not allowed unless accompanied by children. (There's even a sign inside that says "NO UNACCOMPANIED ADULTS. NO DOGS. Well, in the end I went to Pride with **FIXME and we had a great time. He wasn't having a great morning and we missed out on a chance to meet up with aster13 because of it, but eventually we made it out of the house.
