What's gldn tine? The best I can come up with is golden time - like circle time or something.

Yes, it's golden time. It's billed as a "do what you like" time, but the options are heavily curtailed. They typically include watching a film, a craft activity, or reading. There's also a capacity limit on each of those, so more than once **TODO has been in floods of tears all weekend because he couldn't do what he wanted to in golden time ( ... )
