Well they let me loose on the scanner, and as with the build-up to it there is much waiting around and thinking. The mind wanders off i tend to find. Only the other day it sauntered onto a train and was later arrested after mentally undressing someone in Regent's Park. Realising it was the first weekend i'd spent alone for a long, long time (well about 6 weeks), due to friends staying or going away for a break, i thought i'd get back into the habit of sleeping for a marathon amount of time. ...is really quite grim isn't it? No one really goes out or makes any effort with anything for the first few weeks, frazzled and sluggish after waking from the deep steady Christmas/New Year coma. Xmas Departure
I hate that feeling of being left behind. Normally I'd be the first one to finish for Xmas, people eating dust in my wake, but somehow I've ended up still here in my office (otherwise known as Centre of Science) as even my supervisor has buggered off. You've gotta laugh really. Well at least that's what I'm hoping for. So I end up getting a time and a place for a Footlights audition, spurred on by various people, most notably Phil who was instrumental in claiming i had to, and Tarek, who claims he will 'hunt me down like a dog and fucking kill (me)' if i don't.
