For a fleeting second I wondered where I saw these exact facial expressions before. And the way they clap their hands in real life ;)

Absolutely love what you made of it!

Yeah, it's based on a photo of them at an awards ceremony. I turned it Merlin-ified instead. *G*.

(Though as someone else commented, the only problem with that is it does end up looking like Bradley and Colin in costume. Oh well, ce la vie, or words to that effect. *G*)

It took me a while to realise. :)

And no, I don't think it looks like them dressed up. This is Arthur and Merlin. *nods* And I love it!

Aww, thank you. It is a definite problem I find with trying to turn an off-set photo into a Merlin scene though. Funnily enough I don't find it with Bradley. To me, Bradley just looks like himself, whatever he's doing, whether he's acting as Arthur, or in a convention or whatever.

But with Colin, it's not even the different hair or stubble or anything. If it's a behind the scenes photo and he's actually DRESSED as Merlin but he's not acting, then he looks like Colin. It's like he has a whole different set of expressions for when he's Merlin as compared to when he's himself. It's very strange.

(I shall have to write to him and tell him to stop it, as it's very inconvenient. *LOL*)

Yeah, I do like the idea of them all comfortable with each other and totally married. :D

Thanks, I did have fun painting the crowns.

How did I not see this? I love your art so much. You capture such special moments. This one speaks volumes of backstory, in the costumes, in the postures, in the relaxed affectionate body language, everything. You hold my heart, for art in this fandom. :)

Thanks for such a lovely comment. I've got to say, that the reference photo that I used is mostly responsible for the body language, I just moved them to be standing a little closer together. (But of course when it's Bradley and Colin, you know nothing is "really" going on, whereas when it's Arthur and Merlin you can imagine what you like...which adds a lot to what you can read into it I think. Or at least it does for me. *G*)
