[Lym is happy, too -- finally, a game that isn't "Stare At The Walls" or "Memorize The House" or "Stalk Edgie/Edgie's Friend/Faize/Merry/Myuria Until They Do Something Interesting". She nods, keeping her hands still while he sets it up.]

Okay. Mmn ... So how do you do play with two people?

[Once she's all set up, he reaches into her little creation and takes specific crosses between his fingers.] The trick is to pinch the x's and twist them around; it's the same each time. [He turns the strings slowly around and slides them off her hands, until a new pattern appears on his hands, instead.] The string is passed between two people until it makes a cradle.

[She nods, looking at the pattern carefully.] ... Like this? [And with that, she tries copying the same method Ed just told her -- pinching the x's and twisting them around. She's being pretty slow about it, since she's trying to avoid messing up on her first try.]

[Awesome. After that affirmation, she slides the strings off of his hands and back onto her own.]

Excellent work. You'll have this mastered in no time at all. [He reaches out to pinch the strings, tugging them free slowly so she can see it yet again.] Now it's your turn again. [He uses his thumbs to show where she needs to tug it free.]

[She nods, pinching the strings and tugging them free again, as indicated. She's definitely all smiles at this point. It's probably the most fun she's had since she woke up in Luceti /o/]

[That's kind of sad, in a way, but Ed's happy that she's smiling now. She seemed way too solemn for a kid her age. While they play back and forth, he'll keep up the conversation.]

Since you know Faize and his friends, you must be living in his house, right?
