[Voiced]

[Some random fumbling around in the background -- Lymle's just making sure that the journal's on before she speaks to it.]

It's too boring in the house. I'm going to look around the village now, kay?

[And so, Lym's out and about the village, stopping in various stores, staring at people going about their business for a few ( Read more... )

[Have a waifu an Edward going grocery shopping. Strange wandering child spotted, what is this all about? Kids shouldn't be wandering around on their own >:|]

Yes, exactly. [Ed's watching her a bit cautiously, since he doesn't want any symbology going off in his shop. :|]

[She takes another second or two to look over her weapon before nodding to herself and keeping it at her side. Then, she starts marching off to the door.]

Alright. We're going now, kay?

Very well. [That's a relief, and with a nod he follows her out.] What's your next destination?

[Once she's out the door, she looks around the area, occasionally jumping a little to see over some particularly tall people passing by.]

Mm ... An item shop. I need things to draw with, kay?

The item shop is nearby. I can show you the way. [Aaaand taking the lead now. That's just where he was hoping they'd end up.]

[And she'll just be following along, occasionally slowing down to check out her surroundings.]

[Lo and behold, within a few moments they arrive at the item store! And Edward guides her inside and leads her to what could serve as a toy section. There are pencils and pens and paper and crayons. :|b]

[fffff Hell yeah. As soon as she notices that, she runs over, looking at the various drawing utensils. Part of her wants to choose one or two types and grab a load of paper to go with it, but she really just wants to grab it all and book it :| But alas, she has to be fair. So she'll just spend some time, looking at stuff there, trying to decide.]

[Meanwhile, Edward's crouching down closeby and poking at the other materials available. Looking, looking, looking... a-ha! String.]

Are you familiar with string games?

[She stops searching through the crayons and pencils to look over at Ed.]

... No.

[With that, Ed ties together a long piece of string and twists it around his fingers to make the cat's cradle. If you're the least bit interested, Lym, you've found yourself a specialist at this game.]

[Congratulations Ed, you've caught her interest completely /o/]

Wow, Eddie! How did you do that?

[Victory! He smiles and unties the string, showing it to her slowly, step by step.]

It's called Cat's Cradle. It was a popular game amongst children in my village. Would you like to play?

[Ed is so happy, a playmate at last. ;o; He removes the knots from his own fingers and helps her set it up on her own hands.]

You require a partner for this game, so we must help one another.
