I don't mean to be rude, but I think part of why you aren't getting very many tags on your posts and things any more is because your Gino has really become dull and uninspired. Its not that you're bad at him, just that it's pretty obvious most of the time that you're burned out and not having fun with him or you're fishing for certain responses? Does that make sense? I don't know, Gino just seems less open compared to how he was played before.
Again, I don't want to make you feel bad because I think you are still a great Gino roleplayer and yours is my favorite on lj. I was going to suggest trying him out in a totally new setting with new people or something like that and see how that goes for you but I don't know if you have time for something like that (also Splendor didn't seem to go so well for you ):)? But it might be worth a try if you are thinking of reviving your muse a little bit. (:
Thanks for taking the time to say this, first of all! I know lately I've been... pretty much all of these things with Gino and you're pretty much 100% on all points. I guess I've sort of been feeling an RP burnout in general but it's been especially bad with Gino, despite how naturally he still comes to me, and with everything that's been going on I have felt pretty dull and uninspired, yeah. There's not a whole lot of motivation to do the same things over and over despite how fun they are or could be.
I really would like to try him out someplace new! Or someplace different from what I've been doing, at least. It's true I am pretty busy though so I don't know how soon I'd be able to do something like that, since even though I'll be cutting back on my games, I'll still have two jobs to work with irl. I'm also not really sure that there's anyplace that'd really suit what I'm looking for? I loved Splendor but the open-ended but structured setting didn't quite mesh with me, and I don't have the time to start a game of my own that
