Thanks for taking the time to say this, first of all! I know lately I've been... pretty much all of these things with Gino and you're pretty much 100% on all points. I guess I've sort of been feeling an RP burnout in general but it's been especially bad with Gino, despite how naturally he still comes to me, and with everything that's been going on I have felt pretty dull and uninspired, yeah. There's not a whole lot of motivation to do the same things over and over despite how fun they are or could be.
I really would like to try him out someplace new! Or someplace different from what I've been doing, at least. It's true I am pretty busy though so I don't know how soon I'd be able to do something like that, since even though I'll be cutting back on my games, I'll still have two jobs to work with irl. I'm also not really sure that there's anyplace that'd really suit what I'm looking for? I loved Splendor but the open-ended but structured setting didn't quite mesh with me, and I don't have the time to start a game of my own that might be more up my alley, so I'm a little bit stuck right now.
But you're totally right and hopefully I can figure something out so that my rping will improve! I'm glad you were so polite about this, since it's kind of a bummer to hear your worries about a character voiced out loud by someone else, but at least I know nobody is like FUCK YOU I HATE YOU YOU SUCK about it, y'know? ♥ Thanks for the help and support, anon.
