Vacation update
So far it's been a good relaxing vacation, even though it's only been 4 days. I've spent most of it over at a friends house, the guy I grew up with and his wife.. the weather was snowy enough that we didn't see much need to go far, we just relaxed playing games (video, board, cards, etc) and watching bad movies and laughing ( Read more... ) -
Vacation time!
Finally starting my trip back east for a few weeks.. In the airport now, security only took about 15 minutes, SJC reorganized a bit to make things a lot smoother... enough time for a quick breakfast, plane boards in 15 minutes, I should head to the gate in case they rearranged those... -
Indy
I'm sure a lot of you have already heard of Indy's passing last night. He will be forever missed around here.
It's still hard to think about, I think it will be a long time before I'm really over it, but we're slowly getting through this. -
Short road trip
I really haven't gotten far out of the bay area since I came back from my Yellowknife trip, at least, not by road. But today I went with Humble, my roommate, on a short(ish) road trip out past Sacramento to pick up a new motor for his bug. Poor Indy... he got a abscess on his leg, which was getting a bit infected, so he's on lots of medicine again, and he's stuck wearing the E-collar, which he never likes...

Friday was a hot day at home, and since I finally got things around the house not broken (after fixing broken shower heads and electrical stuff and other things), I figured it was a good day to get away, and take Indy to the beach and cool off. I r breaking stuff! Yaay!
For the last few months, I've been getting annoyed at my shower head. It's one of those nice new water saving shower heads. Unfortunately, the low water flow makes the instant water heater flicker on and off, since not enough hot water is constantly flowing to stay at a constant temperature, so I finally decided to get a new shower head that ( Read more... )
