Friday was a hot day at home, and since I finally got things around the house not broken (after fixing broken shower heads and electrical stuff and other things), I figured it was a good day to get away, and take Indy to the beach and cool off. It was 95ish at the house, and at the beach, it was around 55 and foggy. A much needed change.
I managed to find a new beach that allows dogs too (That's getting harder now, since Santa Cruz's beaches are mostly state parks now, grr...) I got two pics from this one, a few miles north of the Pigeon Point light house. I keep forgetting to take my camera, so these are just cell phone pics...
The fog made it pretty cool and creepy, sorta like some of the beaches south of Monterey... what was wierd is just up the hill, less than 1/4 of a mile, the sun was shining brightly, the fog was blowing in fast from over the water and burning off almost immediately after getting over the land...
I got him a ramp too, to try helping him get in and out of blackbadger, but he seems afraid of it, I need to figure out how to get him used to that, since he's not too fond of being picked up and lifted into the back...
