A question: what should we do if we're an author whose work is in a category with only three fics? We're not supposed to vote for ourselves, yet we're supposed to vote for three fics. Do we just rank the other two and leave the one we wrote out, or list ours last...? It looks like this will be an issue in a few of the categories.
Also, tiny error on this page: the links for the Best Dialogue bunch should read Drabble, Flash Fiction, and Ficlet, right? :)
Great question! I would say that even if there are only three categories, you still cannot vote for yourself, since even giving yourself a 3rd place vote still counts as one point. You can simply rank the other two nominees as #1 and #2, and then write in the 3rd slot that you are a nominee in that category so we mods know, at a glance, why you only filled the first 2 slots. Or, you can just choose not to vote in that category at all so you don't feel as if you are boosting your competitors' chances over yours. Either way is fine.
Also, thanks for pointing out those errors - I was still working on editing these posts, but they have been fixed. :)
Fixed these, and then went through and double-checked to make sure all the others were screening, so they should be fine now. Thanks for the heads up! :)
