I'm finding myself in the mood for a really good veela fic, but I'm having trouble finding any good ones. I've even been to the Hawthorne and Vine browser and found it unfortunately lacking many fics

Not to trump my own horn, but my story "Second Chances" (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6056800/1/Second_Chances) has some Dramione Veela action, not just Ropius (Scorpius/Rose). Particularly chapter 4ASIDE.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the other three stories you recommended! "Veela and the Perils of Losing Control" was my very first veela fanfic read, and I was head-over-heels after that with the idea. "Dark Bonding" cemented it (gawd, are ANY of Margot's stories NOT sexxxxilicious?). "Beautiful Disaster" I only recently discovered and melted into a puddle.

Ahhh... I love Veela Draco. I don't care how cliche and overdone it is. I'll read 'em all. ^_^

I too don't care if the theme is cliche. I think if an author wants to try their hand with it and it's well written, then they should and I will definitely be there to read it. ^.^

I've read your story Second Chances. It's unique and brilliant and you definitely have the right to toot your own horn. I can't wait for your next update on that too!

You recommended Twilight to Midnight's story to me and I fell in love with it as well. Margot Le Faye's it SO sexilicious and I hope she decides to update it soon. And Ashleyfanfic's fic just hits all the points of what I love about a veala fic. I can't wait to see what everyone else has recommended.

You know, I always find it funny when people say that Veela!Draco is a cliche! I remember when there were only like 2 stories about Veela!Draco.

You might enjoy What We Gain, What We Lose by Madea's Rage.
It is an interesting study of some of the more negative effects of Veela bonding and what happens when H has trouble accepting things even after they have bonded. It is still WIP, but a really well written and interesting story.

Trials of Affliction and Light Sleeping by Padfoot the Maurauder

Draco discovers that he is part Veela. The odd thing is that Veelas are only supposed to be female. This little fact wouldn’t be bound to bring along some peculiar side effects during mating season, now would it?

Read this a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it :)

I've read most of the fics mentioned here and they are brill, but I see a few here I haven't, so goody, new material!
