I'm finding myself in the mood for a really good veela fic, but I'm having trouble finding any good ones. I've even been to the Hawthorne and Vine browser and found it unfortunately lacking many fics

because its both old, and a WIP that will likely never be completed, but...

The Hijacking of Hermione Granger, by Plastraa, was the first veela fic that I ever read, and still one of my favorites. There was a fun dynamic between veela!draco and a Hermione who alternates between trying to protect her free will, and being irresistibly drawn to Draco, and it definitely has a creative take on the biology/mind of a Veela.

And its ALMOST done. So maybe Plastraa is out there somewhere, and maybe some more reviews for her story will provide the inspiration to complete the story? Well, it was worth a try... :P

I'm glad you decided to recommend it. Now I have one more story to delve into.

I don't mind when stories aren't completed, but I'm glad you said it was almost done. So, maybe your right and this promotion of her story will give her the motivation she needs.

I have never read a veela story. Which surprises me, but the idea never appealed to me. I'm going to start though, because when I first heard about dramione, I thought along those lines... and oh and how my views have changed. Sooo... nothing to contribute, just thanks for posting this!

There's also Oh My Veela! by Charmed Sweetly (12 chapters so far, WIP), Instinct Before Blood by Saffy j (3 chapters, WIP), Fixed Sophistication by FlameWriter008 (10 chapters, WIP), The Veela by No.angel90 (42 chapters, possibly abandoned), and The Quarter Moon Gamble by NeuroticMuse413 (complete).

I love this Veela fic: The Reluctant Veela by phoneix_fancies (26 chapters, WIP). It's also on H&V, but I believe GE has the most updated version. And I definitely second fan8225's Mate Bonding, all of Gryffindorclutz's fics, and Dark Bonding.

You also might want to browse H&V's Veela or Magical Creatures tags. You can also Ctrl+F "veela" in my favourited list for that I've read so far here. :)
