Fisherman's Wharf.

According to Lonely Planet, Frommers, my parents-in-law, and tinkerspink it is a tacky, souless tourist trap. But, we're here so we figured we might as well check it out. I loved the sea lions. Where does an 800 pound marine animal sleep? Anywhere it wants to apparently.

My favourite part was when one of the the sea lions hopped on a dock and bitch slapped the other sea lions until they got the hint and took off.

See I didn't have enough money to buy salt water taffy, but I did end up in that candy store and had an ice cream outside by myself until this family told me to move...

I never did find the sea lions. I'm glad it was worth it. Perhaps if I'd been able to see it through DP's eyes...
