I swear I'll get a real entry in here at some point. But for now, here's this:

Florida applications have been submitted. I've applied for my current job, as well as Team Lead positions. In theory, they should call me sometime in the next week to do an interview.

I am Freaking. The. Fuck. Out.

There's a lot to say here. Comic Con, developments with Alex, things at work... but I don't really have time right now. The big thing that I need to mention is this...

I went to the Legoland Florida website. The jobs I want were made available this morning. I should know within a few weeks if I'm moving across the country. That is mind boggling.

After today, I don't have to work again until Monday. I think the time away will do me some good. Especially when it will be spent with the activities I have planned. Tomorrow night, I'm seeing Eddie Izzard at the Hollywood Bowl, which is exciting. And Sunday, I'm going to Comic Con, early enough to camp out for the Doctor Who panel in Hall H, ( Read more... )

I'm having a really hard time being happy these days. Everything just feels so much harder. It takes so much more effort and so quickly drains me to get anything done. I really want to be positive. I decided to start looking at apartments in Florida, just to see how freaking broke I'll be if I move there. Then I remembered... I've lived in Southern California my whole life. I really want to go to Florida. I love my job and my friends and California, but there's so much here I should get away from. I keep thinking how cool it would be to go.
