[Canon Move at last! | Accidental Video]

Sep 29, 2011 11:36

[A fleet of large sailing ships - apparently some sort of battleship, mostly - are bearing down on two smaller vessels that seem to have crashed into each other. On the deck of one of the ships, a young woman with dark hair is directing them into battle.]

Cut for a naval battle. )

I see you've found Miss Lina.

Why are you two together, indeed. The man in blue must be your Inspector.

I think Lina and Gourry have. We're almost there.

Would you say 'hello' for me?

I think it would get me some rather funny looks - especially from Amelia, since she's been with me this entire time. None of them know about the community, and it does like to hide itself from people it hasn't snared yet.

I assume you've tested this.

No, but others have mentioned it. I've been on this community for a very long time, relatively speaking. And I'll point out that even you didn't know what a computer was - how do you think ordinary people would react?

They would react to it the way ordinary people would react to it. It's not like it would be the end of the world.

Well, it's kind of hard to be a princess's bodyguard when you're locked up for being a lunatic. Besides... to be honest, I don't really want to drag Amelia into the community's mess.

I would come see that. [He totally would come watch, too.]

The more the merrier -- isn't that how the saying goes?

Yes, but I have enough trouble hiding virus effects from most people as it is. And I'm just a bodyguard. Someone like Amelia getting virused might have... repercussions.

Granted, I know you love chaos, but the rest of us aren't quite as big on it as you.

[Oh you mortals. ...] Shall we disregard that for the moment?

Another court intrigue in Seyruun wouldn't be so odd. They already had so many?

[Hey, he was nice and didn't actually call you out on being a mazoku.]

Yes, but that's just Prince Philionel's brothers and cousins and such trying to kill their way up the line of succession and failing. To be honest, I really wouldn't be surprised to learn that the disease that's kept the king bedridden for so long was poison that just didn't work.

As with any age there's room for speculation. Why it seems the sort of thing she ought to be told.

I don't know what good it would do. If she finds the community on her own, I can explain things, but...

I was talking about the poison.

That wasn't actual poison, that was me being cynical about the virtue of Amelia's relatives.
