[Canon Move at last! | Accidental Video]

Sep 29, 2011 11:36

[A fleet of large sailing ships - apparently some sort of battleship, mostly - are bearing down on two smaller vessels that seem to have crashed into each other. On the deck of one of the ships, a young woman with dark hair is directing them into battle.]

Cut for a naval battle. )

I see you've found Miss Lina.

Why are you two together, indeed. The man in blue must be your Inspector.

Well, it's not as if she knows about that yet. We're going to explain things once we get into port.

And yes, that's him.

A shame I can't sit in on proceedings. Miss Lina will certainly make a fuss!

Hm? Why should she do that? I'd think it would take at least until we got around to discussing payment for... whatever it is he wants her to do.

[Zel gives her an odd look.] ... No, those were cannons. You know, there's a big metal ball in them, and then they go boom and the ball comes out again very fast? Ships have them these days, it was one of the first things people did once gunpowder started getting popular.

Oh, that. Okay. You'd be surprised at what people on here are skeptical of.

No, that was just magic. Not one she's used often when I've been with her, but then, we don't go out on the ocean much and that one's probably only really useful on large bodies of water.
