Is it a binding? That's the only permanent way to lose your magical ability around here.

A binding? Could you explain how such a thing works dear?

You seal off someone's access to their magical abilities. You'd generally need to lure them onto a binding diagram.

Really hard to block someone off completely, though. The caster would have to be powerful.

Hmm... Would the binding diagram alter the magic flow in the target's body, then? We are noticing some amount of redirection...

None yet. We haven't seen anything like it before, so progress is slow.

But you should have seen Miata's eyes light up when she heard about it sweetie. She's enjoying the challenge.

I'm just happy it isn't something more visible; I can at least work in my gardens without problems.
