Gaskets do tend to wear out terribly quickly, in my experience!

They sure do. Wish the Cap'n would understand that. He's always tellin' me to just fix it. Some things just can't be fixed.

What model of engine is that, if you don't mind me asking? Of course it's probably different since we're on different worlds, but I might be able to help you with spare parts!

It's a Cappissen 23. Old model but I find 'em more reliable than any of the newer ones.

Really? Everyone in my world does. Maybe ya met Jayne? He's on here too.

I'm workin' on Serenity's engine here. We'll be dead in space again if the Cap'n don't pay to replace these parts soon.

You remind me of Derk in a good way. He keeps us alive by keeping our weapons alive.

I think I did speak to Jayne. About way too many tomatoes and oranges on my world and not enough on your ship, and stuff like that. Nothin' ever came of it.

Is Derk the engineer on your ship? Or the weapons expert. Jayne's our weapons expert though he don't much like sharing his weapons. He's got a really ...strange bond with them.

Oh, yeah. That's Jayne. He's probably just jealous 'cause all we got is protein to eat. Don't taste like much. 'S rare we get fresh fruit and veggies.
