My grandfather passed on the night of the 30th/31st. He had been struggling for some time and had been on a regular regimen of dialysis and oxygen; I never asked the full details, oddly, because it was hard for me to think about him as sick. He had pulmonary fibrosis, even though he had quit smoking back in 1950 - 1951. His cancer had been in his kidneys, although the doctors said it had been completely removed. I'm not 100% certain of the cause just yet, but more than likely, it was from renal failure.

You say it all much better than I could have.
