My grandfather passed on the night of the 30th/31st. He had been struggling for some time and had been on a regular regimen of dialysis and oxygen; I never asked the full details, oddly, because it was hard for me to think about him as sick. I want to say I had been told at one point it was lung cancer that had spread beyond the starting point,

He had pulmonary fibrosis, even though he had quit smoking back in 1950 - 1951. His cancer had been in his kidneys, although the doctors said it had been completely removed. I'm not 100% certain of the cause just yet, but more than likely, it was from renal failure.
