Very good day so far

This has been an awesome day so far, aside from not sleeping as much as I would have liked. I got up early and after my usual slow start, got to Curves before 10am. I still ended up standing around chatting for half an hour after I finished.

I had an appointment at noon with the eye doctor today because my eyes have been feeling strained lately. ( Read more... )

It really would be nice to wear contacts again. We'll see how well they work in the air conditioning.

I know what you mean. I've won some awards for my icons and I got a second place for my Loving Angel LJ Community. I was thrilled beyond belief, so I can't imagine how I'll feel if my stories that are nominated win anything. My stories have never been nominated before, so I was just thrilled with that.

I'm going to see how long I can sit relatively pain-free so I can try to make my first video.

No matter how many awards I've won, I always get giddy when I get another. Of course, with the win, also comes the guilt that I haven't touched The Set-Up since March. Good thing I was planning on trying to work on it this weekend.

Here's me hoping you remain pain-free long enough to get some work done.
