When I got home tonight my air conditioner, which I'd left on low because of the excessive heat warnings for today, was off. My apartment was a sauna. (The clock/thermometer in the bathroom read 87 degrees.) My clocks were working, so all the power wasn't off. This has been an awesome day so far, aside from not sleeping as much as I would have liked. I got up early and after my usual slow start, got to Curves before 10am. I still ended up standing around chatting for half an hour after I finished.

Apparently I can keep things to myself for all of four days. On Tuesday I joined Curves. There's one that's on my way home from work, only five minutes from home. I wasn't sure that it would be for me, but I set up an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by what I saw.
