First up, I was accepted into the MU Masters Program, much to the surprise of no one. My adviser said that I was the strongest candidate he'd seen for the program in years. This week, I mourn the death of two good comrades, my Xbox 360 and HD DVD. I came back from St. Louis this weekend only to find the 3 red flashing lights greeting me from my 360, otherwise known as the Red Ring of Death. Damn. Microsoft will take it in, fix it, and send it back for free, but it'll take about a month...

Okay, so I'm nearing 4 months at my promotion to the Blue Springs branch, and it's going extremely well.
