You know, I gotta say I like the sound of this one. It sounds creative and fun. And another thing- most of the people who think kids need shielded from anything remotely dark and serious are adults. Kids are both more resilient and more perceptive than many people give them credit for. They notice a lot, and are not going to be horribly traumatized by something that isn't all sunshine and daisies. You do need to keep degrees in mind, yes, but you don't need to cover the world with rose-colored glasses to make it "appropriate" for kids. And what this does is especially powerful, because it essentially tells them that while there are monsters out there, you can learn to fight them. That's pretty potent stuff, if you stop to think about it.

Well put! I like it when properties take kids seriously as opposed to talking down to them, and it's depressingly rare.
I thought this was wonderfully put together, and I genuinely enjoyed it. I'd love to see more like it! :D

Yes, it can be kind of depressing, really. Hm, maybe if we ever have the time, we could collaborate! You know, I write, you draw.... ;) Hey, it's a thought! Fun to think about, if nothing else.

Haha, well, I'd be up for it, but I might be pretty slow in response with two comics and a bunch of other projects already on the table, it might get kinda frustrating for you. You could probably hash out a script in a week, but it takes me a week just to do one page, and that's on the top priority comics, it would probably be longer, depending on how I did the pages.
Still, I'd be up for it, it just might be a bit of delay on my end. ^_^;

Thanks! I don't know what I'll do when I run out of comics, though. XD

Yotsuba&! is already on the list! :D (I love that comic too much to not want to talk about it.) The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is also on the list already!

I was thinking of actually skipping Bone, since it's just a big title. I haven't decided on that one yet, but my sister owns the other two, so sweet! an in! :D

Your stuffed animal legion sounds exceptional, what are you even talking about. I could bring mine too, and our Figment plushes could team up to FIGHT CRIME ( ... )
