If it seems like I hardly ever update anymore, it's because I can't. They're cracking down on blogging at work. Which is fine. Small price to pay for working someplace that I actually like for once.

Just be careful with the Special K thing...If you follow that plan the way they tell you to, you're not consuming enough calories, even if weight loss is your goal (I think it's supposed to be something like 1500 for weight loss, and the plan has you eating like, 1200). But yay about the bikes! :)

I still snack during the day (a cereal bar in the mornings and some reduced fat Triscuits and a couple of Hershey's Kisses in the afternoons), plus have a normal dinner and either a glass of wine or dessert, so I think I'm good. But thanks! And it's just for 2 weeks anyway, so I only have 1 week left to go.

Good idea for the bikes! You will definitely develop more stamina as you ride more and more.

Also, in regards to "Rome," one of these days I'm going to have to do an lj entry devoted to "Titus vs Maximus" in which I compare and contrast Titus Pullo from "Rome" (I freaking love him so freaking much) with Russell Crowe's character from "Gladiator." My vote totally goes to Titus Pullo. I was just telling Dad how much I really like him.

Also speaking of tv, anyone else watching that new show on FX, "The Riches?" It's so good. I totally :heart: Eddie Izzard on there.Ditto!!

Carlos says that although Titus Pullo is very sympathetic, that Maximus is more tragic. Which is true, but I still like Titus better. He's just more charismatic.
