Sore, sore, sore

Okay, so I'm off the strong drugs now and I'm feeling it. Ow...ow...ow! Please, Lord, tell me the pain stops eventually. I'm up and moving and stretching, but it still hurts. Ugh...

But let's take our minds off pain for a while and talk of fannish things.

I, too, was a little iffy on the episode, but for the exact opposite reasons. Heh. I liked Tamara - maybe not her husband, but I don't fault them for waltzing into the bar. I forget who stopped our heroes from going in, but you know at least one or two of them would have done so if someone hadn't been the voice of reason. I thought Tamara, in the end, was an interesting character, especially as "her" sin was wrath ( ... )

Very true. I don't know...maybe Tamara will grow on me if they bring her back.

But the blonde I'm still reserving judgment on.

I don't watch any of those shows, so I can't get all fangirlish on ya (lol). But I did want to tell you that I'm thinking of you and I hope the pain subsides very soon. *bearhug*

Oh, I definitely am. I fell in love with it last year, but was quiet about it after the season ender. I have a deep love for Tim Riggins, what can I say?

Well, I haven't had the same surgery, but I did have an 8-inch slice through my private parts to remove a certain sproglet ;) And yes, the pain does go away, but oh man, does it hurt for a while. Ugh. I never realized how important the abdomen was until that point.

Just take as much of the non-prescription stuff as your stomach can tolerate. And hang in there!

That's what I'm doing. I'm down to only extra-strength tylenol and valium. No more Percocet.:)

I'm totally with you on the new chick. Too many people have been condemning her based on what, a couple of quick scenes, a knife fight (which was kind of awesome and I look forward to finding out about that knife), and a couple of lines? I was more intrigued than anything else. I look forward to knowing more about her and seeing where it all goes.

The hunting couple was pretty dumb, though. Ugh. Also, where do they get off being mad at the Winchesters and Bobby because they failed to prevent the gate from being opened? Where exactly were they when it was all going down? The omens were there for anyone to see. They should be grateful that the boys and company were there to keep it from being a hell of a lot worse. Ingrates. [/rant]

I'd been wondering that myself. Weren't any of the other hunters concerned about keeping the hell gates closed?

And, yes, let's see what Kripke has in store for this chick.

Question is, how many of them were aware? We've only seen the hunter world through Sam, Dean and, briefly, John's eyes ( ... )
