Sore, sore, sore

Okay, so I'm off the strong drugs now and I'm feeling it. Ow...ow...ow! Please, Lord, tell me the pain stops eventually. I'm up and moving and stretching, but it still hurts. Ugh...

But let's take our minds off pain for a while and talk of fannish things.

Ah, my guilty pleasure show is back, and damn if there wasn't enough Riggins (but I hear I can buy a #33 Panthers jersey from NBC.com. I do need a new nightshirt).

Anyway, so my favorite couple is having a tough time with the new baby and living apart. *Pouts*

I want Coach Taylor to move back and kick the nasty new coach to the curb. I don't like him at all.

Now, onto my other favorite couple. Julie, honey, I know you're sixteen and the rocker guy looks really interesting and your parents are apart, but what the hell is wrong with you? Matt Saracen is too perfect? The hell? But, then I have to remember I'm watching this show through the eyes of a thirty-year-old.

The ones I feel sorry for are Tyra and Landry. Yeah, that death is so going to come back and haunt them. Eek!

And I see Lyla has gone all Jesus freak on us. Interesting. Is this for real or did she do something back in the season finale (which I missed)?

But, yay! So glad to see you again, FNL! I will be streamlining your first season this week. *Beams* God, can I take that much of Riggins? *Fans self*

Since I've chosen to watch FNL, I'll have to download Moonlight. What I saw of it last week through my drug-induced hazed, I liked.

So, let me get this straight, the blonde reporter chick who desperately wants to be Chloe was a little girl Mick saved from his crazed sire (and BTW, Shannon Sossamoyn makes a beautiful vampire), right? And now he's falling in love with the woman she has become. This could be interesting.

I like how he deals with regular cases like Nick Knight instead of supernatural ones. Very, very cool.

Yeah, I'll have to download it this week's ep to really form an opinion.

No, I have not been able to catch Bionic Woman yet. Should I download? Yes or no?

And now for the really important show other than Heroes.

I...don't quite know what to make of that opener.

On the one hand, Sam, Bobby, and Dean kicked major ass. They know what's going on and they know it's nothing to trifle with. They're ready to stand together. I love how Sam called Dean on his "sacrifice". Dean deserved that.

Tamara and her husband annoyed the crap out of me. For two so-called experienced hunters, they sauntered into a bar completely without knowing what they were fighting or any back-up. Stupid, stupid, stupid! To quote Bobby, "I'm sorry for your loss," but he was right, she was stupid.

On the other hand, the bad guys weren't that fear-inspiring. Okay, demon-incarnations of the seven deadly sins. Cool...but dispatched pretty darn easily. Even if Pride was the most fun to watch. Of course, they could be on the bottom tier and we haven't gotten to the mega-demons yet.

Now, my opinion on our new blonde friend...I'm totally willing to give her a chance. I want to know more about her and that knife she was weilding. No, I'm not going to jump the gun and scream Mary Sue because we don't know who the hell she is yet. If a guy had come in and helped Sam like that, no one would scream Gary Stu, would they? I think not. So, let's wait and see how this chick plays out.

All in all, the new direction could be interesting and I'm certainly along for the ride.

Okay, people, I've been in and out of touch all week. Point me in the direction of your thoughts on the new shows as well as SPN.

friday night lights, moonlight, breast cancer, supernatural
