Well, despite the whining, it was nice that grandma showed up for a school event.

*pats Maddy* I know all about the ankle thing...

Yes, I was a little shocked that she showed up, but at least she did :)

Poor thing turned it earlier in the year, playing netball, and it's given her trouble ever since.

Ankles take forever to heal because they are so used. Mine still gives me trouble :P

It doesn't help that she won't rest it either, but I guess that's the joy of being a kid. They do take forever to heal, if they ever do properly.

Hearing about you and your mother reminds me a lot of me and my mother. :)

Yes, I think there are some similarities there, if my memory serves me correctly ;)

Mothers they are something else. My mother in law is the same way. She will be all for going to a program or what not and always has something rude to say about someone or something. I really try to blow it off.

I hope that her ankle gets better....kids don't feel it now. They will when they get older.

Rain....I understand a little about that. We have been under a flood watch for 4 days.

Well, this is the first time in a long time that my mother has bothered showing up for anything that the kids have on. Usually, she comes up with some excuse to not attend.

Yeah, this ankle is becoming a bit of a problem - she rolls it so easily. Might have to look into some form of strengthening program for her.

Our rain is due to start again tomorrow *sigh* The sun has been so nice :)

What is it with Mothers not acting like their usual selves lately?! My Mom did something really nice for me recently, I still think that, 1. she did or is about to do something worse then usual, or 2. my grandpa made her do it. Either way I don't think I really want to know!!

Not sure what's going on, but I'm with you... Leave well enough alone!
