I really liked the story in the DS game, maybe they can remake that game someday.

Visual Novels are a special breed of game. There are idiots who think Zelda: Ocarina of Time has the best story ever. So have one of them play a mediocre visual novel and they will think OMG THIS IS THE BEST STORY EVER!

Japanese are thinking the same thing too! One of them makes a fascinating point. Castlevania HD was never released on Japanese PSN. Also, the iOS Castlevania puzzle game was never released on the Japanese iTunes store -- doing that is next to free, what the hell is wrong with Konami?

Liking it so far, but this is not Suikoden. Story, voice acting, characters, music, are all good, but the camera is shit, exploration is pretty much gone, no treasures to find in dungeons, so it's in a way even more linear than FFXIII, hell, they might as well have turned this into a full-fledged visual novel ( Read more... )
