Over the years since I got my own place, I've begun to notice the wildlife & what it can tell us. I feed the wild birds in my garden & normally they stuff themselves silly in the morning & then its on & off all day

Unfortunately not, every time I sneaked up to the window with my camera, they spotted me & flew off.

If they're stuffing themselves again tonight, I shall try again - with more sneakiness this time!

Indeed! My front garden is full of them!

Cool.... we have some bulbs hidden away under the lawn dried up dead ground ready for spring.

Tho' judging by the noise, I think they might be blowing away as we speak!
