Um, my girls and I just watched "The Secret of Kells" and I pulled out a little book I have about the Book of Kells. And Katelyn was all, "I have to learn to draw like that!!!1one"

And I showed them some of your scrolls you've posted, and verily, they were awed. =^_^=
I'm thinking of hooking you two up. ;) Perhaps the three of you. Sera's very into drawing (manga-style), too. Shall I start them on calligraphy? (I have a book around here...)
If you do get them started on calligraphy, try to get them real pens, not the chiseled "calligraphy" markers, because those markers can lead to bad habits, like pushing the pen (when with a real pen, that's a big no-no. Ink will splatter everywhere) I'd be happy to come play with the girls anytime. I probably have some beginners books around that I could part with.

Kati did some doodles today, fitting little details into a swirly letter-type shape. She's kinda into it, hehe!
