Scrolly Scrolls
It's been a long time since I've posted pictures of my scroll work here. So, without further ado, I shall fix this afront.
All done with Winsor & Newton Gouache, with the exception of the metallic gold, which is Holbein Brilliant Gold Gouache. Ink used was Higgins Black Magic Inc, on Bristol vellum finish paper. I was thrilled to get the opportunity to do the Gryphon for Caryn and of course had to include her little white cat from her device on the piece.
I've never been in a position where I'm comfortable painting critters... I hope that doesn't come across too much. I was excited to try doing a white gryphon though, since golden ones are The Thing to do.
