We had intended to go to university, but with everything going on with our hovel...... It just wasn't practical at this point. I'm sorry to hear more folks wern't able to/didn't make it.

I'm sure everyone that didn't go has a perfectly valid reason for not attending. It was just sad that they all happened at the same time. There are events I've missed, too, because of conflicting priorities. If the A/C hadn't been repaired by the time we were ready to go, one or the other of us probably would have stayed home to make sure it didn't freeze up and catch the motor on fire from the electrical overload....
