The sand ceremony sounds awesome! I bet it would have made a great picture, seeing the two colors mixing...

It will last much longer than a unity candle.

In regards to the harp, you should have told the choir director, "You want it up there? You take it up there? PS--you owe me a million dollars if you drop it"

Maid with the flaxen hair is a great piece. We played an all-strings arrangement of it in high school.

And the blizzard you guys got, we just had freezing rain. All of the east-facing windows were caked with a thick sheet of ice.
