Fic writing: Ideas are not the problem!

I have the flu from hell. Got five hours of sleep last night, and three the night before. Turns out the only cold medicine I had around had an expiration date in 2006, and I had to work for 10 hours before I could buy more. And I was sucking down cough drops the entire time which, if memory serves, I bought during the trip to NY in '04. *wince

1) Vegas is AWESOME. Yes, I miss Teyla and Ronon, but as a one-shot? AWESOME. Really. TPTB finally did one right.

2) I have not been watching SGA because I don't want it to be over. If I still have episodes, well, then it ain't over, right? This is why I have STILL not watched the finale for SG-1

HOWEVER, I did watch Vegas last night, because my mom told me to and I knew that she would want to talk about it because she called me AND texted me regarding the episode.

No spoilers, just some general comments on the episode: I personally think it is one the best if not THE best episode that they have ever done.

SO GOOD. Plus, John look SUPER HOT in his jeans and sunglasses. GOOD LORD.

I liked the execution of the episode- if you are a fan of CSI, you are in for a treat here. Also, the soundtrack was incredibly good and fitting.

I would love to get your opinion on this once you watch it. There are story telling elements that I know you will see/get/be able to converse about. ;)

3) I don't normally read femslash but I would read Rachel/CJ. Good lord, would that be hot.

Okay, well, now I'm intrigued. I'll have to talk to you as soon as I can bring myself to watch it! I wasn't a fan of CSI, but that's just because I find procedurals repetitive- I DID like their look/style/camerawork/Thing. So that's a good sign, then. Now I'm so curious as to what you mean!

(YES. Rachel/CJ would be MASSIVELY hot)
