It's so sad that you're the only one writing PD porn. I mean, yay you for writing PD porn, because it's awesome! But more people should! Seriously, this setup is tailor-made for kink. And Ned is so adorably awkward about sex, and you capture that perfectly.

I know! I'm not used to feeling dirty and awkward about NC-17 fic, because I fully by into the "yaay porn!" ethos of fandom. But this fandom is all.... sparkly clean and G-rated even though I think the actual source is really dark in a lot of ways (and has started to be more sexualized). It's like people can't see past the pretty colors. I don't know. I mean, it can't be the "no touching" thing, because the Rogue/Wolverine fans were FILTHY! So why am I the only dirty Ned/Chuck girl?

I'm right there with you on that imagery. Its awesome. Write another one with Zach. The idea of them using a third person to explore sex is great and its even better when that person looks like Zach Levi.

Awww, poor Ned needs a hug. And sex of course. I nominate Zooey Deschanel as Ned's love buddy. From the moment I first started watching Pushing Daisies Anna Friel reminded me of Zooey Deschanel.

This is really lovely and hot and poignant and so wonderfully in the tone of the show. I love all the dialogue, and lines like "That's amazing," Ned had said. "You're using my glove box for gloves. I didn't think that was even allowed," and the fact that whatever bar or club they're in at the beginning has booths, so it became this sort of alt.PieHole in my head. And it's all so keenly observed through Chuck's point of view, with all her doubts and meta moments and affection and pragmatism ... and the end is beautiful. Loved it.

Wow! That's one of the best R PD fics I've ever read. Please write a sequel with Ned picking the girl. Chuck would be much better at telling them what she wants. I think the actress that played Jayne Tyler would be a great model. Please, please write more!!!!

I stumbled across this a few weeks ago (I think I followed you here from a comm and clicked on your tags), didn't memory it, and have been scouring LJ to reread it - it's kind of haunted my subconscious. It's super, and I can imagine exactly this happening in canon (well, not on-screen), with Chuck being bold but not seductive, and them starting off all awkward. Great dialogue too, esp. the Glovebox line. and of course, hot!

It almost makes me want to do a remix where Chuck picks out a girl for Ned. (and in my secret fannish heart it would be Olive.) There's just so few other fandoms that so desperately call for threesomes....
